The Kikuichi Elite 5.3" utility knife is hand-hammered for appearance and functionality, providing air pockets to keep food from sticking to the blade. The Warikomi core is clad with 16 layers of Damascus-style folded steel and the exterior is hand-forged to provide stability, toughness and beauty to the blade. Crafted with a full tang for exceptional balance, these knives are made with a durable VG-10 stainless core which provides excellent edge retention. Utility knives can be used to slice meat and fish or to chop vegetables.
