Sugar Cookies

Baking 8 oz. shortening
8 oz. sugar
Dairy 8 oz. butter
Meat & Poultry 3 oz. eggs
Spices & Seasoning 1.5 tsp(s) salt
1.5 tsp(s) vanilla

Rolled sugar cookie dough suitable for cookie cutters

Ingredients   Instructions
1.5 tsp(s) salt
8 oz. sugar
8 oz. shortening
8 oz. butter
1. Cream together until light and fluffy (speed 2).
1.5 tsp(s) vanilla
3 oz. eggs
2. Add eggs and vanilla, a little at a time (speed 2).
1.5 lb(s) flour
3. Add flour until combined (speed 1).
  4. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill dough.
  5. Roll out to 1/4-inch thickness on floured surface and cut shapes. Place cookies on cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned (8-10 minutes).
